Europe to India pet relocation applies to pet parents moving from countries such as Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland and other European locations to India. The process depends on the origin country's export certification and India's AQCS import requirements.
For entry into India, AQCS requires an official health certificate from the country of origin, vaccination details, microchip details, owner passport copy and travel document details. The health certificate should mention that the dog or cat is free from clinical signs of infectious and contagious diseases, and owner details should match the travel documents.
If the pet is travelling under baggage rules, eligibility conditions such as transfer of residence and number of pets must be checked. AQCS refers to dogs and cats up to two numbers under the baggage rule, subject to applicable requirements.
